Both Jin and Seung hail from Korea. Seung studied sculpture at the Ecole De Beaux Arts in Paris and fashion at Studio Bercot. Jin studied fashion design at Parsons both in New York and Paris. It is their background in sculpture, fine arts and fashion that really shines through each collection.

Clu began humbly. Having moved to Los Angles, the duo immediately began sewing away, creating a collection that reflected the laid-back, easy-going lifestyle of their new home. Soon after, however, they wanted to take the look to new heights of sophistication and innovation, striving to create haute couture for the T-shirts.
